What cellular network does the tracker use?
The tracker connects over 4G LTE-M (Cat M1) on a multi-carrier network. Rather than being locked to one provider, it uses whichever major US carrier has the strongest signal at your location, so coverage reflects the combined footprint of the major networks instead of a single carrier's dead spots.

What if the tracker goes somewhere with no signal?
Nothing is lost. If cellular isn't available, the tracker queues its location records on the device and uploads them automatically as soon as it's back in coverage. You get the full route once the connection returns. A dead zone only delays the data, it doesn't erase it.

Is the SIM included, or do I provide one?
Included. The tracker ships with an embedded SIM, already provisioned and activated — no separate SIM to buy, insert, or set up. Your first year of service is covered; the $99/year renewal keeps it active after that.

Will this become obsolete when carriers retire older networks?
No. Older trackers on 2G/3G were no longer able to be used when those networks shut down. This device uses LTE-M (Cat M1), the low-power standard the major carriers have committed to maintaining as their long-term network for connected devices — supported well into the 2030s. It's current-generation hardware, not something on borrowed time.

How far back can I see location history?
Up to 60 days. The platform stores your route history under Reports, where you can replay a drive step by step or review the full route, and click any point to see the details recorded at that moment.

Can I get alerts if the vehicle is towed or the tracker is unplugged?
Yes. The device can send a tow alarm if it detects movement while the vehicle is off, and a power-loss alert if it's unplugged or loses power — each generates an in-platform alarm and an email. These alerts are configured per device; contact support to switch them on for your tracker.

Will it report fuel level, engine data, and VIN?
On most vehicles, yes. OBD trackers and hardwired trackers with a CAN adapter report data like VIN, fuel level, and engine temperature into each location record. Exactly what's available depends on your specific vehicle and tracker combination.
